Consider also: a. Assisting your audience/listeners. Write a boilerplate letter that your online audience/listeners can cut and paste into an email or send to their respective representatives (who can be found using a search engine like Google) 2. Contact supportive congressional members who can be advocates for your cause. (Senator John McCain, for instance, would be a good one since you already post his election banner).
In addition to your struggles in Washington, may I suggest that you find some sympathetic news/industry publication media and send them press releases concerning your plight? If there's one thing that the politicos hate, it's being in the public spotlight and looking bad over controversial issues that negatively affect their constituency.
That's exactly why the group who made this did so (I'm a member). We realize we're staring down some pretty big guns here. That's why we're fighting with everything we've got. This means more than just the death of webcasting, we know that, and we're going to do everything we can to stop it.
Very good video and gets the point across. I wish the best for you webcasters, especially for the niche genres. But I think that your trust in Uncle Sam is a little misplaced. In the Halls of Congress, where the Lobbyists, SIGs, and PACs pull the strings, you're up against some pretty heavy hitters.
Well done! As a 13 year old baby streamer I'll be posting a link to my site and send some folks to see this...Your video should be mandatory for all members of Congress.
That was a cool video. Should be shown on tv stations such as FSTV.
