I started running 3 weeks ago. I used to hate running, and I find myself starting to love it. I look forward to each new run, although I am still in the beginning stages and have a very long way to go before I can call myself a runner at all. I believe in the run because, in the short time that I have been running, it has lowered my blood pressure by 20 points. That's just in 3 weeks!

Just start off gradually and focus on continuity and on slowly slowly making the runs a little longer.
The body needs time to adapt and will thank you for listening to it.
So make sure you take enough rest days to let it recover and get stronger (super compensation).
Start off by running two or three times a week maybe, and let the prestige go, that way you can allow yourself to walk and run walk and run.
It's a good way to start off and keep it going.
