Wow! All the time I thought that reading books, doing research and studying space would lead me to learn more about the the origin of this universe when Maria Von Trapp in The Sound of Music had the answer all along! My mind is truly blown and now I know. I can't wait for more evidence taken from Hollywood pictures!

@BillGates1337 If ignorance is not believing in a 2000 year old nomadic peoples holy book then i geus im ignorant. ill list you just 5 easy things that are demonstrably false
1- all humans share common ancestory to two people, adam and eve
2- humans used to live to be hundreds of years old in ancient times
3- there was a world wide flood 4000-500 years ago that wiped out all life except what was on an ark
4- there was a tower of bable
5- the red sea split

@kalikatik1 Actually, I'm a language student in two languages, adding a third soon. It isn't so hard to spell properly. I've studied Japanese for 6 years and I'm learning Spanish in college. I'll be adding French next semester, but I've already begun to study it on my own. You can correct some of the problems just by sounding out the word, and as a language student, I do believe in learning to spell in the language you use properly.

@MsJokyo Telling someone to learn to spell in a multilingual place of communication such as the internet is rude and a liitle bit smartassy. But thanks and take care=-)
-
@kalikatik1 My my someone is rude today. You don't get my point either, so I guess that's the end of the discussion. Take care. ^^
-
@MsJokyo I see you dont get the piont. But you did make my point true. The apples were on the cuting board then taken away,so that means apples exist.By adding them and taking them away you get zero."You can then say that there is nothing on the cutting board".I dint say that nothing is on somthing like your example.A word is a symbol, the word DOG is a symbole of a dog its not a dog.So the word nothing is a symbole of nothing. Also from what i see my bad spelling affects your capability to think.
-
@kalikatik1 Ah, but zero is equivalent to nothing in some cases. After all, when counting something, we'll take fruit for example, if you place 5 apples on a clean cutting board with only the apples on it, then take them off of the cutting board, there are zero apples on that cutting board. You can then say that there is nothing on the cutting board. Also, nothing IS a something. It IS a word, an idea, so to say that nothing can't be something is plain false. Also, please learn to spell. Thanks!

@thewayofthemaster So why is it that God has either "come from nothing" or just "been there all along"? His (or her) existence would be far harder to explain than a few lumps of rock whizzing around a fireball, and yet you seem to have overlooked his (or her) origin in you Hollywood based logic. Why can you accept that you don't know how he (or she) got there but you won't make the much smaller concession that the world either came came from nothing or was always there?
-
@powerdriller10 For it to be posable for zero to exist means that in that same unevers or quantum world there must be at least a 1 and a -1.That is somthing!!!Nothing is not zero its NOTHING!
-
Nothing or Zero is just one of the posible somethings in the quantum world, in which all anythings posible are phantoms looking for becoming somebody when a ghostly roulette stops and one possibility is chosen. And then the roulette spins again. So Dawkins is right !! And the superstitious ignorant idiots are wrong.
-
@thewayofthemaster if miss von trapp had any training in quantum physics shed know that something can come from nothing..and taht in fact everything did come from nothing...now whats more fascinating than that possibility ;)
-
You know this is funny, because if you look closely at anything, all you see is nothing... just theoretical points in space with forces attached.
Alas, Richard Dawkins never makes the claim that something comes from nothing. That's purely a claim made by believers in creation ex nihilo.

@notthecheatr Richard Dawkins: "The fact that life evolved out of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years AFTER THE UNIVERSE EVOLVED OUT OF LITERALLY NOTHING is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice.""From tail to tale on the path of pilgrims in life", The Scotsman (April 9, 2005)
