@Cyallaire You are welcome. As a side note I served in the Navy on the USS Turner Joy, one the ship in the Tonkin Gulf incident, some time after that event. I was TAD and no one I met believe they were attacked that day. LBJ is also know for the false flag attack of the USS Liberty in the Mediterranean during the six day war.

id be so relaxed to have my country, its armed forces, and its nuclear weapons in the hands of men like LBJ, Nixon, Kessinger, J. Edgar Hoover, Dick Helms, Lyman Lemnitzer, Curtis Lemay and others like that. its amazing we didnt end up worse off or in a nuclear war with crazy ppl like that in charge

@pat442389 Suggested reading: "The Forty Years War" and "JFK and the Unspeakable" for extremely thoroughly researched non-fiction analysis of how some of the men you mentioned damaged America.

@exenrontexas haha ive read JFK and the unspeakable. the forty years war i havent and ive never heard of it. does it refer to the vietnam war with the french and then americans coming in and taking it over or the series of wars and conflicts starting after ww2? i love that time in history its so light on the surface but so dark and treacherous inside where the press wouldnt report

@pat442389 The Forty Years War is an analysis of government promotion of war from JFK toi Obama and their betrayal of the American people and leaders of peace. You get an analysis of the Cuban Missle Crisis, Nuclear Test ban treaty, JFK ordering our troops OUT of Vietnam and the efforts by some in the State Deparment, Joint Chiefs and the CIA to murder President Diem and similar actions in subsequent WH since.
