@Shompy06 Judging from the visibility of the stars in the tail of Scorpius, I would estimate the "official" latitude of the planisphere to be about 45 degrees N. Our club uses it comfortably down here at 39.75 degrees N, so 45 +/- 5 degrees would be the optimal range for its use.

how to use it was super usefull. becouse bought a bit cheap telescome and this thing was included and i had no idea how to use it.

@AceIsManik In researching this, I wouldn't agree that "split pin" should be a replacement term, but I do see that it is another name used to identify what I am calling a "paper fastener."
