Recorded live at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on December 31, 1977. This recording is entitled "The Nautical Almanac".The song was written by Kerry Livgren and appears on the LEFTOVERTURE album. This was on the Point Of Know Return Tour. The A Capella intro is a tape.
I've always wanted to do a discography. Below you will find the name and year of release. I know there are a lot of other bootlegs and unauthorized copies of stuff out there so if you'd like to add to the list feel free to do so in the comments section. This is a fairly comprehensive authorized release list. (From The Front Row Live was placed out of order)

I bought this cd for $100. on ebay 10 years ago..... Wish I had known Walsh didnt bring his A game on that night. Still an average Walsh blows 95% of all singers away. Great post Rick, do you also have the cd?

Thanks Marc, I have the whole show but I picked it up off of the web. All of my live Kansas as well as any demo or rehearsal I've gotten on the web. God bless the internet!

Im sad that Im so young, would have wanted to see them live between 75-80. Started listening to Kansas after somehow sliding in on a video here at youtube a year ago and I love them more and more for every day!! :)

You have great taste in music over there in Sweden. Thank goodness there is a You-Tube because it would be infinitely harder to listen to all the great stuff from the 60's thru the 80's that you find here. My channel has almost all 70's stuff and a lot of Kansas live material (slideshows) so check out all the amazing Kansas stuff that I have posted and will continue to post......Rick
