Greater and lesser Key of Solomon 1, crap

The greater and lesser keys of solomon are total and utter crap. Within these two books is little that is instructive within the words, and any lessons learned will be learned by seeing through the minutae and nonsense. In so doing you may see what is truly important, but likely not. These and other books like them are nothing more than an over complification of a simple art, meant to obsfucate and confuse the wannabe occultist into thinking he is learning something of worth. instead, all he is learning is junk.

Many people have invested their time and egos in books like these, and the "systems" which they teach. Theses systems are a large part of the problem, formalizing and complicating what is a simple matter, usually to be overly showy and impress others. Magic is a simple matter, and I've a great deal of experience in these books, how else would I know so much about them. Possibly damned asserts otherwise for no logical reason because my words attack what is important to him.

What people need to understand is that Grimoires, books, they are not there to guide you down a path to power and enlightenment. They are not meant to be followed, or used for this purpose. They are merely guideposts, nothing more. Once you can find your way for yourself, they are no longer required. In truth they were never needed to begin with.

Magic is a simple matter, anything that complicates it is a roadblock. If this attacks or offends those who do things differently, so be it.

A magician should know that he/she cannot judge anything before experimenting, researching and contemplating on the subject in question. It's pretty obvious from your video that you have not experimented with these grimoires or researched anyone's experiences with them. Hence, all that you say in this video is useless.

Magic is magic. Life is life, if I have lived I know life, if I know magic I know magic. I need not summon a demon to know the dangers, nor be foolish enough to do so.

What subject do you refer to exactly? There are a number in these books, all of which are utterly useless. Now that isn't to say that uselessness can not be instructive, just depends on what you learn from it.

You seem to take my words personally, and that is a shame. You also jump to many conclusions possibly damned.

i was hoping that you would have went deeper into your criticism besides just stating that it is "ridiculous" and "nonsense". for example, if it ridiculous, it then should be backed up, not by your personal sentiments, but to some other objective source proving these books to be fallacious. IJS

You make a well worded point against the Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon, and so I have one simple question: why should I follow your word blindly as you warn against doing with the Keys? Why should I follow the belief that the points you articulate so fluently are not set up to do just as you say the Keys do: hold back a budding practioner of magick? I hold faith neither in the Keys or you. I do however take one grain of useful knowledge: you won't learn from something unless you question it

@JustMeGuy1 I do believe that is the case but what I am saying is you never need to throw them out like he claimed(if i remember the video correctly). You can always use them even "master" magicians can still use them. I have some that I still use even tho I am sure I know the material in them. For I do not want to forget it lol. Also take the tables of planets and what plants go with them I will never memorize that lol. So I have a list with all that info.
