  • Manual landing my ass. If you watch the MFD just before touchdown, VNAV / LNAV / SPD are all engaged, not to mention the sound of the AP disconnect after touchdown.

  • @itsJames2011 Well your ass it is then, as it was a 100% manual landing. On touch down the noise you can hear happens on all PMDG 747 landings, Also If I was using a full auto land then why at 6:11 am I high and at 6:52 why am I left of the centerline? This isn't even a good landing it was done ever 9 months ago as one of my first ever videos but trust me its manual.

  • @FSFLIGHTproductions why ? because you're a terrible pilot lol x)

Nah i like manual landings, It brings some challenge to it :)

  • @MonsterRage 99% of the time I manually land this was from over 9 months ago now I have got allot better. In my eyes if you use ILS on a clear day its like cheating.

  • @FSFLIGHTproductions awesome landdng and video! good job

  • Excellent.

  • @itsJames2011 You've obviously never operated the PMDG 747 before, because if you had, you'd know:

    a) its the PFD, not the MFD

    b) when an autopilot mode is engaged, a green box appears around it on the PFD; "LNAV" in the middle section just means he was using LNAV before he disconnected the autopilot

    c) the sound that played on touchdown was the autohrottle disconnecting

    d) why would he lie about landing manually?

I advise you get your facts straight before you start questioning him

  • i always manuel land ;D

  • @itsJames2011 Hes right tho : )

  • @DDam0n Awwww, I feel soooo loved. :-)
