Brief Description:

@xjcrossx actually, the work 'jerkoff' is used a few times during the series, that's why i posted the comment. but, i do see your point, makes sense, thx.

@shegotyagood The scensors for the show would not allow either of those terms to be used, therefore the term jagoff was created to get the same effect without the actual word being used. It wasn't meant to be only for New York or the fictional 55th precinct

I really don't get why this show uses the term 'jagoff' so much--all my life being from this area, people just don't say it like that--maybe one consultant to the show gave them the idea but, for the most part, ppl either say 'jerkoff' or 'jackoff' but, this overusage of the term jagoff on this show always confused me.
