The Japanese version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". Of course the monetary values are different because a million yen is only about $10,000.
This question took forever, and in typical Japanese TV fashion, they cut right to commercial when something interesting was just about to happen. She got it wrong by the way.
The cool thing about this show is that little graphics show up after each question which provide some background information about the right answer.

  • awesome! thanks. ugh, hokkaido was gonna be named tohoku?

  • too cheap for a tripod, sorry :D

  • Could we get a translation of the question and answers into English?

  • Not from me, sorry. It's about Hokkaido and I think early foreign settlement there. A is "Hoktaido", B is "Tohoku-to", C is "Sapporo-to", not sure about D (the right answer was B).
