@Epzo1 Yes, according to the Rachni queen someone "soured their song" which she believes were the Reapers doing. So, basically it was them who turned the Rachni into agressive killing-machines. But The Rachni Wars themselves began when a mass relay was activated paving the way for indoctrinated Rachni to attack the Citadel civilizations.

hello earthlings just to let all the fans out there, there are talks about a movie in the works and its going to be (if it happens) of the first contact wars that part they have agreed on. What they haven't agreed on if it is going to be animated or not and i hear some of the actors in the game will actually be in the movie- so there will be no joker,tali, ashley, miranda, grunt, wrex, garrus well you get the point. like i said before some will appear and yes sheppard will be in it

Everyone does realise that this isn't the movie trailer? It appears on the first Mass effect if you leave it on the Start screen for a few minutes.
