um, not disputing the colour but i think, well, i know these heels were around way longer than 1997, it's a spanish look, also used in cuba, which also became the recognized shoe for international dancesport, called a latin heel, so yea it's been around awhile.

Although I doubt my adding a third clarification will help because obviously you only read and/or hear what you want out of my posts, but for the third time, I said MF pioneered the aluminum/titanium HEELS these dancers have on, not their boots. They did not exist until MF went to a British Aerospace firm and had them developed back in the late 90's. Take the time to search online if you wish.

You have never seen flamenco dancers, thats all. So, according to you, M. Flatley "pioneered" those high heels boots in 1997.

rip off????. This is a flamenco based choreography and has nothing to do with Irish dance. And those high heels shoes are the

Don;t you think flatley was the one who copyed things from flamenco just to put some flavor in his show and maked less buring for the people who payd the ticket to see his show???,don't you remember even a spanish female flamenco dancer he had in the show?,for your information flatley was the one who copy many things from flamenco for make his irish dance spiced and less bland,this was the reason for his short time in bissiness,in the other hand flamenco is houndreds of years old and stillalive
