With its all-new Megatron-faced 2007 MDX, Acura wants the MDX to be mentioned in the same breath as the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. Doing so required the new MDX to be a much hotter tamale than the lame-duck MDX in nearly every way, so Acura endowed the 2007 model with a formidable dynamic repertoire. Effectively negotiating the opposing tables of performance, utility and comfort is a delicate balancing act that the smarter, buffer MDX pulls off convincingly.

  • I don't quite know what you're on about with "people think Acuras are the most expensive car" Quite to the contrary, Acura owners are proud that they own the cheapest luxury brand out there. And, every major study has shown that Honda (and subsequently Acura) is one of the most reliable brands sold in the United States. You can't argue with statistics!

  • i agree with you. The Cayenne's interior looks like it belonged to a 1980 Dodge Caravan!!!(that was one of my parents' first cars)

  • I don't think the center stack has to much buttons. It is just right. As long as you read the manual first to get familiar with what the buttons do, you will be okay.

  • The steering wheel is great the center stack is great and the wood trim is great!!! The car is great!!!!

  • i got a 99 tl 213000 miles and the thing runs smooth

  • @bg1379 as i driver of a 2004 Acura RL with over 160,000 miles on it. i can tell you that it still runs like the day it was new

  • if this thing was any lighter, it'll be as fast as an NSX, almost identical engine to the NSX!

  • this suv is amazing for just cruising around town, though that 300hp isnt a bad thing either :)

  • I won is supposed to be I own

    * I own

  • I won a 2005 MDX. And got a new generation for a coutesy car for a couple weeks while mine was in the shop. And I have to say. The older generation is better. Better gas mileage and more boot space. old one is better looking too. Do like the traffic GPS on the new one though! Do you think I could drive the MDX off-road. Like on sand, beaches and stuff or is it too low?

  • This is the only car I like from Acura except the old ingetra dc4

  • You talk as if your personal opinions are facts. But then again, an uneducated person with very limited mind and narrow knowledge of vehicles are prone to believe whatever they could afford are the best.
