This is my first attempt to do a remake. I think it's a great song and wanted to give it a try.
I made it all by ear and it may not be correct, and I am aware that this remake is incomparable to the original song since every thing preemo touches turns into gold.
I'm a beginner and still learning.

I don't own the rights to any of the song that were used in this video.
This is non profit, just wanted to share this for tutorial purpose
Please ask me to remove this video if it's causing trouble with music rights.

Drum sample: Melvin Bliss - Synthetic Substitution

Instrument sample : Monk Higgins - Little Green Apples

  • damn bro good job, how'd you add that little pause of the sample at 6:02?

  • @DJchupacabrah If you right click on the volume button of the sample, you will see something called "automation" click on it. And from there you make a pause by muting the sound exac exactly where you want. Good luck.

  • Dj Premier using Fl Studio in 1994? xDDD

  • @MegaKwanzaa

no, probably a sampler of some sort

  • This was really really good mate!

But i've got one question, beacuse i'm looking for THESE specific drum loops with this old school-radio style, but i cant find it anywhere, pls answer where i can find them and how they are called!

    Thanks

  • @QazCwalk I'm not really sure. The drums are sampled from old songs mostly. Or maybe you are looking for TR-808 samples?
