Everything presented on this video is true, and I call it the succumbing of the Modern Civilization, the Capitalism, the Democracy, everything is proving to be a bureaucratic, corruptive and failed system thanks to lack of Education, around the globe, that are aplied on consummation.

I saw a documentary on the Brazilian ethanol industry industry once. Apparently they use sugar cane which is, if I remember correctly 3 or 4 times more efficient than corn based ethanol. Brazil is almost completely self-sufficient, in terms of oil, because of the ethanol they produce.

Unfortunately, the USA blocks imports of the much cheaper to produce and much cleaner and efficient Brazilian sugar cane ethanol.

In my opinion, the USA should open up to ethanol imports, allowing less developed countries in the tropics to get some revenue from the sugar cane ethanol business. This will reduce the price of food, reduce the price of oil, and create jobs in those developing nations, thereby reducing poverty.

This video is FULL of mistakes.
There is no shortage of oil, there is overproduction.
Most of the oil price is taxes and speculation.
Speculation does not need scarcety.
There is no shortage of food.
People starve because of property rights, not because of physical shortage.
World population: Most of the people on earth use almost no energy.
Biofuels are bad, but because of reasons not mentioned in the video.
Etc. etc. etc. etc.

the price of oil is what's going to make people go green. They aren't going to change because they want to save the world...only their wallets.
