New Corvette ZR1 Tops Out at 205 MPH

The Corvette Development Engineering team took the new ZR1 to the test track in Papenburg, Germany and put the pedal to the metal to see just how fast it could go.

but what you have to take into consideration my friend is the emissions were alot less strict back then... even supercars have some regulations.

but still...im a fan of both cars...i think the veyron is a better allrounder but no doubt the callaway is a bomb.

He shifts into 5th gear and then into 6th at 160ish.

4th gear is good for only 150mph, and fifth is good for 185 mph.

this car wont demolish everything in its way.

i hate to bring it up as you will all cry that its obvious... but i doubt it will demolish a veyron mate.

veyron wouldnt stand a chance on a road course.

the veyron is good for what it is but back in 1988 callaway corvette went 255mph. the veyron 21 years later does the same speed. no big deal really... especially when you factor in the million dollar price tag.

but for todays production cars it is the fastest top speed, no doubt about it.

You're not upsetting anyone, cuz the veyron is a different class... hell for the price of 1 veyron, i can buy 10 ZR1's... And this is no joke LOL
