@SmillingAllTheTime If I had to hazard a guess, it's because there have been Starscream fans for as long as the Transformers have existed (since the 80's). Some people didn't like him, thought he was a coward, etc. I think, for both those who liked Starscream even in G1, and to silence those that disliked him, they decided to try something different. They didn't stick with it (as we can see in TF Prime)...but, yeah, that's just my guess. ^^;

I have not seen this series of transformers, but in all the ones I've seen, Starscream does not bond to a human, nor seems like he ever would. Why does he have a bond with a human in this series? o_o

how come in the next season of this, (like the newer kind of thing, when the transformers are more advanced in design), there isn't any hint of their previous relationship or friendship or whatever?
