Sigma Brushes vs. MAC Brushes - This video reviews the following Sigma Brushes: SS109, SS150, SS168, SS182, SS187, SS188, SS190, SS194, SS208, SS219, SS224, SS239, SS266, and SS275.

All photos show Sigma Makeup Brushes brand newthey have not been washed or used, theyre right out of the package, so my MAC brushes may look dirtier (I swear I cleaned them all, but I think I might have forgotten one or two) and some of my white-bristled brushes Ive never been able to turn 100% perfectly white again.

  • I am glad to read all of these comments from people who actually own the brushes and bought them rather than received them for free. After TiffanyD's reviews I have been soo tempted to get the new $150 kit even though I don't feel it's ethical to so blatantly steal MAC's ideas. Because of that I've not bought them but I think about them every day. I will go for integrity and quality and save for MAC.

  • @xoglamxlifexo really not trying to stick up for sigma because i own both MAC and Sigma brushes and they both have good sides and flaws depending on the brush, but it is convenient for someone trying to save some money.

  • I just bought some Sigma brushes and i really like them! they are the softest brushes i own, however i don't own any MAC brushes, so i can't really compare.

  • I read the corresponding blog review, & I've been hemming & hawing about purchasing more sigma brushes (I own an F80, Miss Taylor retractable flat top kabuki, & a freebie travel e25- 217 wannabe), but now I think I'm dead set against getting them. @ first I really loved my sigma flat tops, but the more I examined them, the more disappointed I was- stray hairs, many out of line with the "flat surface" which makes for a scratchier brush. Sigma claims higher quality than MAC @ fraction, doubtful.

  • I like mac better- not because they are brand name but they are denser and easier to clean i think

  • Love the editing and music and comparing the two it really helps. Great vid.

  • Sometimes, you have to spend money on high quality brushes or makeup. Because you're putting these things on your face. And your face is probably like almost everything to you. Some drug store makeup might have ingredients that might harm your face, but it is a lot cheaper than high end products. But if you buy MAC foundation their ingredients are much more delicate for your face. Sometimes it just all depends. Personally I'm willing to spend money on good products.

  • SIGMA ARE SHIT, THUMBS UP

  • @babycakes13xx it's your own preference to buy cheap or high end products. However, you can use MAC products for 3 months and send it back for your full Refund. If the brush is great at first, then falls apart, it doesn't matter the will refund you 100% in 3 months. Try taking an ecotools brush back in 3 months and see what they tell you. The higher end products might not be so different, But the really care about their reputation and tr to uphold it.. unlike other brands.

  • The music reminds me of Resident Evil...

  • Wow i can c the difference!!!

  • i have all the sigma brushes and just love them, i would be lost without them. i think they are very easy to clean. you can use baby oil or mac cleaner. also sigma are alot cheaper than mac but their just as good even better...
