Even Orthodox Jews don't shake hands so this is nor an Islamic phenomenon. I doubt he said she forced her hand on him, but the truth is her hand was innocently far too forward on him. If we look at the clip he was trying to put his hands together and then slightly bow in the Indonesian traditional way. Like customs of other nations are to be respected so are the religious in a greater sense.
