Virgil Goode makes a huge gaffe by participating in the Scottsville, VA parade accompanied by a Hummer H3.
His opponent for Congress, Tom Perriello, arrived in a bio-diesel fueled tractor complete with its very own bluegrass band.
Thanks for doing your part for the 5th District Virgil!
Being orginally from FC Va( Ihave since moved) i'm wondering when he became a Republicanm, When i left, he was still a Democrat....wtf?

I'm glad this idiot lost. He is a shame to the Republican Party. I guess the Dem's finally got together and had their say this last election. I hope he doesn't run again, 'cause I'll help the other side, just not to see his face again. He's useless.

Goode was not even at this parade. He was NOT in the hummer. Perriello is not a good choice. What a sad outcome.

Thank you for the correction.

Actually, Periello was born and raised in Albemarle - he went to Western Albemarle and St. Anne's Belfield. Don't just make assumptions.

So aparently you do not know what gumption means, do you?
Words should never get old.

Yeah, I love hearing liberal idiots make fools out of themselves too.
I liked Ron Paul, but Tom that is a different story.

Virgil Goode was one of the first Congressman to take Pickens Pledge for Energy Independence. The Pickens Plan is the only plan that can reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and reduce the price at the pump at the same time. The Pickens Plan can also help out South Side as we leverage the Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines to fuel Heavy Transportation with CNG and LNG. Thanks Virgil, for your support to bring New Energy to the 5th District, and all of America.

U.S. sovereignty? U.S. sovereignty? When in the name of Jesus has anyone ever questioned U.S. sovereigny? The last time anyone questioned this, it was England during the Revolutionary War. Please come up with something more compelling than "U.S. sovereignty" to justify keeping this bigoted, embarrassing excuse for a Congressman in office. He makes me ashamed of being a Virginian.
