Because an Obama presidency is uniquely linked with an engaged generation. The problems we face will take generations to fix it. Senator Obama has tapped into the American Spirit, the American Insistence, that despite the odds, yes we can, despite the obstacles, there is nothing we can't do.
Volunteering for the Obama campaign has given young people across the country the opportunity to learn about and engage in the political process. Even students who are unable to vote are paying attention. The opportunity to engage a new generation of leaders is unique, leaving us to respectfully ask Moms and Dads across the country, to please vote for Senator Obama.
