This is part of a series of videos offering a detailed tour of a power plant. We were given this opportunity when Bryan Texas Utilities hosted this event as part of their dedication of a new generator. Special thanks to TAMU Engineering for providing the transportation to this event.
@sturmovikdragon They just do the classic moving of said patches on a USB or CD drive (Pending the system that is.) after they are done with the testing which often takes months anyway and they only deploy patches small time first before making a full makeover, less hassle and issues if there indeed is a bug.

@CMDRSweeper True, but then the sys admins can't get the patches for their precious SCADA software and of course if they want to remote the operation to another location it will be cheaper just to use the existing IP network than pay for leased lines. After all a VPN is just as secure ::rolls eyes::

@sturmovikdragon Thats why you do not keep it connected to the great internet.
You cannot hack something there is no physical connection.

You know who else can come in and make your computers do stuff? China, and it's not pretty. For critical systems we should stick with the stuff that can't get hacked.
