You are probably thinking of Mary Bradley, an old friend of Jona. Martin 'Mary' Bradley died in 2005 but he had been a close friend of Jona from before he was famous, and was celebrated in this song.

  • why did he have a transvestight in the song.

  • A very sad but brilliant song

  • tuneee haha aww i love crimbo

  • Great Old Song

  • @ninjabazz The transvestite must have been a boxhead. The only queers in England are foreigners and they weren't about until the commies took control of the British government in the 1960's!

  • @JiS01 me too. And there aren't many of us. Well not where i live at least....

  • a 4 chord masterpiece!! simple but very clever

  • @Feisty1967

    You've heard right Feisty!

The voice on Kitchen at Parties was certainly Dave Robinson, because Jona couldn't sing in tune back then. Jona just mimed. Stop the Cavalry was probably Robinson too - it sounds like the same voice.
