This is purely a personal view, but all those who think the question should be funny/outstanding/groundbreaking really are missing the point. The entire set-up and delivery is intentionally sedate and innocuous. I’m inclined to think that a ‘bells and whistles’ question would seem too try-hard – thus ruining the whole concept.
I think the tone/question/delivery/performances are spot on!!!

Get a tripod.
And better questions. I could see what you were trying to do, I think everyone could; with that much buil-up it was obviously going to be a deflating question, but it still should have been funny. Better luck next time though. Lovely background and lighting!

@whitemischiefnight yeah, I know that the idea was to have a big build up and then to drop a non-related silly question, but I just don't think that question quite worked. I thought everything else was good and Baddiel played his part perfectly. Just trying to give constructive feedback.
