This is a good film. Being born and bred Barnsley myself, I have to admit that I don't like what it's becoming. The people are, in general, good friendly people. I will always love the people of Barnsley. I moved to Canada a few years back, as I felt that a) Thatcher and subsequent Governments do not give a fig about anyone who cannot serve their interests b) I just simply needed to move somewhere that was more me. Thanks for posting this, Yorkshireminer! It's been a joy to watch.

This actually interested me.
I wish i was alive back in those days to be honest.
Barnsley has been ruined now.
There is nothing left to be proud of.
Although, Barnsley people still show pride.
I must say that Barnsley looked really appealing then.
If we were to compare modern day Barnsley and 1960's Barnsley, I think it's obvious which one most of us would rather live in.
