@snaaptaker Sounds like I'm going to go to Korea sometime! But seriously, that's really neat if you did in fact know him. He did study at Juilliard, and was a student of Mme. Lhevinne. He went by Tony back then?
@OrangeSodaKing 1) BTW, I think (not sure) I may have known him at Juilliard, about 50 years ago. If it was him, we were friends, and he was a teenager we called Tony Paik, and he was (IIRC) a student of Mme. Lhevinne.
While I was stationed in Seoul (US Army Band, 1963-64), I attended a concert he played there. I can't remember what he played (can't really recall whether it was a concert or a recital). (cont.)
@OrangeSodaKing Well, if he's the same guy I knew back then, everyone called him Tony. I don't know why.
Funny, he didn't look Italian. :-))

@OrangeSodaKing 2) I do remember that he was like a rock star there. After he had played, a large mob of girls chased him all around the hall's halls.
Wow!! Funny, that never happened to me. Dunno why. Maybe I shouldda played Korea. :-))

I think 4 dislikes because when the orchestra plays, the sound quality is just BAD (not the orchestra, but the video sound)

@snaaptaker Well, Busoni's is not everyone's cup of tea, that's for sure.
And thanks for your other comments, by the way.

@OrangeSodaKing He would probably tell you that the Busoni is much more difficult.
I've played the Rach3. I don't think I would even attempt the Busoni.
Fortunately for me, I don't much care for it. :-))

WOW. Incredible. Why 4 dislikes?
I'm going to have to meet this man and ask him which concerto is more difficult: Rach 3 or Busoni (he plays both).
