The 2011 Stratford upon Avon Literary Festival kicked off on Monday 25th April and rans until Monday 2nd May 2011, with a week of events in schools between 3rd and 6th May.

The 4th Festival line-up was bigger and better than ever and included events, workshops, poetry showcases and music for everyone to enjoy!

Headline speakers included:
Patricia Routledge, Celia Imrie, Larry Lamb, John Humphrys, Mark Radcliffe, Baroness Shirley Williams, Colin Dexter, Arthur Smith, and Sophie Hannah.
Barbara Trapido, Dame Harriet Walter, Katie Fforde, Mavis Cheek, Catherine Horwood, local writer Jean Baggott. PLUS workshops, performance poetry and much more...

Compton Verney Fun Day on Sunday, 1st May - the sun shone and we had a wonderful time with Axel Scheffler, Philip Ardagh, Jackie Thomas, storytelling, theatre and bookmaking workshops.

We are extremely grateful to Arts Council Grants for The Arts, Scottish Widows, Stratford District Council and Stratford Town Trust who have once again given us a grant towards the success of the Festival.

This is a highlights video of the festival made by Stratford Upon Avon College students. Music by Jack Blackman.
