GARY MALANE, a 60-year-old pilot from Bonnet Bay made a desperate mayday call as his light-plane went into a fatal spin and crashed into the water at North Curl Curl Beach at around 10:00am AEST on the 2/9/11, the one passenger was pulled from the wreck soon after by North Curl Curl Surf Lifesaving Club members.
This montage is dedicated to Gary Malane, who died doing what he loved.
