  • Some things for people watching this to learn a thing or two:

    -As said, 1-2-3-4--4-3-2-1 would be a faster pattern

    -You should have a slight delay to wait for your flood coolant to actually flood the part before cutting/drilling

    -despite the fast tool changes, avoid them.

    I'm not going to pretend to know the critical dimensions of the part, so I won't criticize the finishing order specifically.

  • instead of comming back to the firs each time you should go 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1

    you would waste less time so more money ;)

  • @mitchabusa1 looking at it again i would drill tap, mill radius then finish the square shoulders... many can run cnc's, few can criticize there own processes and make changes for the better

  • that was painful. drill and tap, square shoulder those "blocks" individually then do the radius, why? your part will be dry when you go to grad it and to much movement on the blocks

  • Whatcha making?

  • how fast is that tool change?
