  • Critical questions of Ahmadinejad without the axis of evil hype. You have my support for ongoing journalism, and I am spreading the word. Just keep it coming! :)

  • With regard to Paul Jay's mistaken views on Holocaust denial, Tobias Buck, writing in the Financial Times (17 April 07), clearly indicates that "[l]aws that make denying or trivialising the Holocaust a criminal offence punishable by jail sentences will be introduced across the European Union, according to a proposal expecting to win backing from ministers . . . Denying Holocaust: Is that so much worse than denying other holocausts around the world, promoted by Spain, England and USA throughout the history?

Yes, Ahmadinejad is the only wrong leader here.

  • I think you're right ! He's brilliant, no doubt

Both the mullah (religous cleric) as the interrogator knew full well that this also gave the interrogator permission to rape Nadereh. The interrogator got what he wanted and fulfilled his religious duty in the bargain. Thousands of young women were executed in Iranian prisons (1), most of them were raped under Islamic law.

The number of young Iranians wanting to leave is increasing

"Today we are going to talk about jobs," says the English language teacher to his class in Tehran.

And it's better jobs they're all after.

They're preparing for what's known as the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam - a requirement for emigration to many countries like Canada and Australia.

Everyone in the class wants to go abroad.

  • Ah but the upside is that you can smoke all of the opium you want legally and you can have as many wives as you want.

Look every country has its yeas and nays.

If you don't like it, don't go there.

Bottom line is that we are all human beings. No one is making anyone stay somewhere they don't wanna be.

Can't we all just get along?

  • roxhana2 isnt he great?

Homosexuality is a crime punishable by death in Iran under the country's theocratic Islamic government.[2] Any type of sexual activity outside of a heterosexual marriage remain forbidden. Gay men are treated far more harshly than lesbians; some gay men undergo sex changes (which the late Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini declared permissible in a fatwa) as the only way to avoid persecution.[3]

  • i like ahmedinejad. i think he's one of the wisest, boldest and most brilliant politician ever.
