A Surprise in Texas: The Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition literally brings the viewer backstage during a rigorous three-week competition schedule in May and June 2009, and offers insight into the daily lives of the Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition finalists while they were in Fort Worth, Texas. Hailing from 14 countries, competitors were welcomed with Texas-sized hospitality by their host families and immersed in a city best characterized by the Fort Worth Convention and Visitor's Bureau's advertising slogan, "Cowboys and Culture."

@tyu3456 Well, I don't know, it's just a thought I had (I didn't hear the whole competition), that's something I heard from a teacher when they said the results of a competition. I'm sorry if the comment was offensive.

Nice video but I will never understand why Evgeni Bozhanov didn't won. He is a marvelous pianist...I mean, he could take the 3d or the 2nd preis but If I remember well, he was not a prize winner and that was pity in my opinion.
