so eventually, once the puppy or young dog has had enough training like this that it ignores everything and pays direct attention to you, can people eventually pet the dog and the dog wont even notice or care? Also, if the puppy is doing civil work, will this interfere with its ability to watch out for potential threats? thanks

Awesome video (even if I did have to turn it up really high)! This is exactly the strategy I need to use with my Pyr Shep Puppy. After owning Labs and Beagles for 12 years, I needed a new angle on socialization!
