Easily add an aftermarket amplifier to any OEM radio system with this superior line-level controller that converts factory high-level speaker wires into unbalanced low-level (RCA) outputs and adds multiple sound shaping controls to clean up and boost the high distortion factory outputs. This unit can also be used with any aftermarket radio when you require more RCA outputs than what the headunit offers.

•Converts and filters high-level factory speaker wires into ultra-clean unbalanced (RCA) low-level signals to an aftermarket amplifier
•High Level Inputs: Accepts all types of high-level input signals including floating ground type, low and high voltage speaker wires
•Audio Signal Sense: Speaker audio signal detection automatically turns on the controller and the amplifier (MX-1 has both remote wire and signal sense capabilities)
•Parametric Bass EQ: Provides a wide array of subwoofer output signal shaping controls to enhance bass response and sound quality including Bass Boost, adjustable Bandwidth (wide and narrow), Low Pass and Subsonic Filter
•Clipping Indicators: Visual clipping indicators provide indication of damaging clipped signals to help protect the subwoofer and amplifier. Includes pre-clip, soft-clip as well full-clip indicators
•Balanced Line Driver: Ultra-clean DIN variable high-voltage output drives mono amplifiers with BLD input
•Remote Output: Built-in amplifier circuit activates any aftermarket +12 volt amplifier upon radio activation
•Bass Remote: Included bass remote featuring built-in clipping indicators allows direct bass control from in-dash or under-dash
•Input and Output Level Control: The system provides high level input and output level (gain) control for both full range and subwoofer signals

  • great video!

  • how's it goin'

  • is there a need to disconnect my factory bose amp if i am using the Mx1, 1 mono amp and 1 four channel amp

  • I smell a little bit of burnt plastic when I put this in a car. Is that normal? It works perfectly fine.

  • Whats the name of the 4 ch amp used in this video ?

  • I only wanna add a sub I'm keeping the factory speakers

  • I have one question. when u connect your factory speaker wires from the harness how is the speakers going to be connected to the radio if I cut it. I'm I splicing the front and rear speaker wires to connect to the mx1.

  • i own a 99 saab 95, it has the ms3/premium sound system, so the stock amplifier is under the passenger seat, what wires would i need to buy to connect the mx-1 to that amp, and then to connect it to my factory amp in my trunk, along with a subwoofer?

I'm just unsure which wires i would need to get, any specific kinds u recommend? would appreciate if you list all the needed ones for what i explained i hoped to do

  • thats the one thing i hate... clipping

  • Yes you can.
