I think that it was EGM that tested something similar to the video game driving thing. They got two pro FPS players and brought them to a shooting range to see if their skill in the game translted to skill in real life. It did not.

Nope. Forza motorsport or Gran turismo have not teach me how to drive, I drive very slowly.

they tested it on top gear, jeremy clarkson got a similar time for most of the track on gran turismo & in real life in the same car & on the same track, except he just chickened out on the same corner every time. the difference between real life and video games. courage.

But he knows how to drive, I was ansewring if a drive simulator can teach you how to drive.

And the videogame can't teach you how to make a turn with 2.5 G forces on your body, its not the same.

i know, what they tested was similar, but not the quite the same. they were mainly testing how accurate the physics were.
