  • Good job on trying to quit smoking!!! I quit Christmas 1998 after smoking for 11 years!! I had help using the patch and wellbutrin.

  • Hey girl - You are so brave and wonderful to share this story with us. I am in the same boat. I need to lose 40-50lbs. and I started smoking again after being smoke free for over a year.! CRAZY I KNOW -. I am sharing the same feelings of guilt and not wanting to do things. I don't mind going with my husband; but, I don't want to see friends I haven't seen in a year or so because of the weight! Also, I am much older (59) and postmenopausal. Hard times; but, we can do this!!!!!!!!!!!! 

  • @ladycopley Thank you for the comment! It's so hard...I haven't lost any weight since my last Phat Ass video. Been snacking too much. I just got my exercise machine, so I'm hoping I will start losing again! How is your journey coming along?

  • @AskinnierVersion Another reply. Scientific fact is that your brain tells you you want sugar because you're deprived of protein. Get more protein, about 0.8-1 gram per pound of body weight per day and you'll lose those sugar cravings for sure.  A good whey protein will help get the amount you need. A good casein protein will help keep you from being really hungry in the morning if you take it before bed, or just eat cottage cheese or drink two glasses of milk. Good luck! :)

  • @AskinnierVersion Get on the veggie juice diet, it's really the easiest and fastest way to lose weight. Just make sure you get some whey protein and mix it with skim milk so you're body doesn't go deprived of those important macro-nutrients.
