82 years after he was indicted, John Scopes goes on trial again. It's the annual Rhea County production of "Inherit The Truth." 20 years after its debut this could be the last production with part of the original cast.

Decades later, religion still has a stranglehold on non-thinking "believers".

The play is almost all fictitious. In contrast to the play, Scopes had no fiancee. Neither did he teach evoluton! He admitted in his memoir that the trial was fraudulent, a publicity stunt promoted by town boosters. Chapter Three, "The Great Scopes Scam," of a book, The End of Darwinism, explains what actually happened in Dayton.

The plants were created on day 3, and the sun on day 4. There is no way the plants could survive without the sun. I think God did this on purpose to prove that one day, is one 24 hour day. Another clue; there was "evening and morning"... Gen.1:11-Gen.1:19
