Either this Jason Lewis is a liar or a fool. Franken's concerns had nothing to do with protecting the NBC brand. It was more to do with allowing freedom of speech. If you have the same people responsible for the content AND the delivery of the content, you prevent anyone that doesn't have a pro-corporatist viewpoint from being able to express ideas in the media. There's some things more important then corporate profits. Are first amendment rights is among these things.
