Beginners: Standardize your cross (and other stuff too)

This is tutorial that addresses a problem that I see with many people who start solving the cube. They twist it around, and do weird things. Instead, here are a couple of tips on how you can standardize your cross. (but you should be applying same ideas to different parts too). If you keep solving it exactly in the same way over and over again, you will be able to improve faster. That's because you will spend MUCH less time thinking about the moves, and everything will be much more automatic, even if it can sometimes take a bit longer to solve, in terms of the number of moves.

So the main point here is: Standardizing your solves (i.e. making them look as similar as possible) is almost just as important as doing the "right" moves. Your thinking takes a long time when you try to be "right". There is a tradeoff, learn to optimize it.

@goldentrumpet1 that's always been the case. Only about 20% or so watch most videos right away. I think many of the others don't cube anymore, or see "Beginners" in title and decide not to watch, etc. I didn't expect more.
