  • Hi polites - so glad you had a great time in L.A. Fantastic. I really hope that he comes down under for a tour in the future. There'd be alot of his old fans from back in the 70's. I still have a pic I had taken with him in Melbourne, early 70's and still have 3 letters that he wrote to me, back in the day when stars used to answer fan mail..great to have. Thanks for sharing your story.

  • I love this man <3

  • Great book, very honest. Thank you for sharing your story. He puts on an awesome live show too! :-)

  • I couldn't believe what he went through with the record companies. He's an amazing performer, actor, musician, and songwriter. I have followed his career for over 30 years. Love this guy.

  • @rhonniej

I remember Rick from Zoot days too! I ordered the book here and it still didnt arrive after a month, in that time, I travelled to the States, bought it at Lax airport, flew down to Miami and went on the cruise ship Destiny (carnival cruise lines) for the "Rick Springfield and Friend's cuise" 5 nights around the Bahamas and Rick concerts pretty much every day! His book I found an emotional roller coaster ...but he deserves EVERYTHING he has, he certainly hasn't had it easy , he ROCKS!

  • I live in Melbourne Australia - and was a fan of Rick and in his Zoot fan club. I have old photographs of Rick - and even have 3 letters from him from the 70's which I treasure.. He was always a nice guy - and always was very deep even back then. He certainly has had a hell of a life - and I can see the pain in his face. I hope that he finds total peace one day. Very talented singer, songwriter and an amazing guitar player.

  • i love how honest he is about how he was in school. I think alot of us went through that and it just makes us feel better knowing we are not alone and that even if you arent Einstien you can still make something great out of your lifes journey. Hes truely a inspiration<3

  • i remember when Jessie's girl came out in the early 80's.

  • Bought the book, am 1/2 way through it. It's like he's sitting in the room with you and just talking. Very good read so far. If you like him, buy it. Very unpretentious and "real".

  • He is ****absolutely*** AMAZING!!!!!!! Can't wait to go get this!!!!!!! He is the sweetest man alive!!! xXx
