Man, I recently got a puppy. I will call him ODEN

If people didn't spend all their time hunched over a keyboard in some grey slave cube, then spend all the rest of their time playing with technogadgets, watching television they might learn that there are actually other PEOPLE out there in the world they can interact with. The reason people place so much significance on pets is because people in modern society are completely alienated from anything and everything that matters. They have no real connection to other humans so pets fill the void.

This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life. It always hits me harder seeing animals die rather than humans. But remember all Dogs go to heaven, so he's probably having a blast up there!!
