More pictures and info about local privy digging. My appearance at a State Site is featured at the end. This covers material from 2004 to 2007.
We are trying to establish ways for amateur work and contributions to be accepted by the professionals. The music includes1940 broadcast material. I have received almost as many comments about the music track as the content in my productions. I went back and included two great Frank Sinatra-Tommy Dorsey performances.( Yes - thats Bunny Berigan trumpet on Deep Night ) Tommy was totally professional and demanded perfection.
I then added a last track of Bunny Berigans late1940 band, after he was fired by Tommy - for his 'alcohol problem'. My favorite quote was that - "Bunny was a better trumpet player completely drunk, then anyone else sober".
He quickly formed his own band. This cut was from a broadcast at the 1940's World Fair Bandstand. It shows Bunny in a more relaxed atmosphere where he is completely in charge.
I somehow see an a similarity between the professional approach and other ways of contributing.
