Battlefield Bad Company 2 Graphics Problem

Well I've been having this problem ever since I got the game, but thankfully it seems to only occur about 20% of the time. I've done everything from update my drivers to lowering visual effects. My specs
CPU: Intel Q9400 Quad Core 2.66GHz@2.83GHz
M/B: Gigabyte GA-EP43T-UD3L Socket 775 DDR3-1600+
RAM: PQI 2x2GB=4GB DDR3 1333MHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX260 625MHz/1100MHz 896MB GDDR3 Drivers-260.99
Sound: Realtek onboard sound/Plantronics 777 usb soundcard
OS: Windows7 Home Premium 64-bit
And yes I have asked EA Support for help, but as usual EA Support fell short of helping by sending me a link on how to play better.

hey guys when i start the game and when in the first mission they travel in the boat..when we reached under the bridge where two guard talk and go inside ...after that when we got spotted then the game freezes but the sound come but the video frezzzes ..

plz guys help me plz plz....

I had a similar problem using ATI graphics. I was constantly updating drivers, thinking that was it. I downgraded the drivers to an older version and the problem went away.

@sdm6770 Well I recently upgraded to an Nvidia 560Ti with the 285.62 drivers, and havn't had any problems since.

@Holmes1MN Go to "My Computer">"Documents">"BFBC2">­­"settings">change "DxVersion=auto" to "DxVersion=11 (or whichever DirectX you have)" and "Bloom=true" to "Bloom=false">"File">"Save". And that should fix it.
