Army Attack gameplay video - mortar defense

Gameplay video for the Facebook game Army Attack by Digital Chocolate. The main reason I put this up is to show how important it is to have a solid defensive perimeter set up as well as leaving room between said perimeter and the enemy line. You can see quite a bit of enemy in the north but most of them wind up getting killed by the morters while moving south and by the end of the video, I've totally cleaned it up. Usually, I only go until I've collected all the supplies and used up any remaining energy but for this time I decided to clear up the rest of the map to show other people how to take care of problem areas.

Apologies for lack of sound. This was taken at night and I turned the sound really low to avoid waking up sleepers.

Main reason this was taken with a separate camera instead of direct capture is because my rickety PC can't handle full screen gameplay and screen video capture at the same time; you can already see it buckling a bit while playing full screen. :P

BTW, after taking the video, I did my round of visiting allies and by the time I was done, the enemy had completely respawned and the map wound up looking pretty much the same as at the start of the video, har. :D

I can't use my mortars? Why?

@1XxXSoldierBoyXxX1 Mortars and all defense installations like watchtowers and pillbox are automated; you do not directly control when and where they fire. They only fire every time an enemy walks within their firing range or get fired upon within that range. That's why you need to leave a distance between where the enemy spawn and where you install the mortars. The flip side of this is they don't use any energy so it's free supplemental firepower.

@theangrypersian And I already mentioned in the notes that my crappy PC can't handle video screen capture and full screen gameplay at the same time. I've tried various ones and the video just skips too much for it to be of any use.
