You hear that high range in cissy at 3.54. Imagine if she sang "emotional" she would sound just like her daughter! To correct it whitney sounded like her mom but with a plus.

@buenosdiers yes, when she was younger she had a voice similar to whitney which means whitney gets her vocal texture from her mom :) but as u know age will change the voice .

Some one on here said that Cissy is out of tune, when she is singing harmony, and "curling in and around the melody", but she is definately in tune.

Is this a different performance from the same concert? There's another video with the same setting but both sound much better there.

Cissy, From day 1, God made you really pretty - your physics and your daughter whom you rightly described as "a beautiful flower". The love and closeness between you, your daughter and her own daughter makes me cry a lot for each and every one of you three. Nothing anyone says now would heal the pains in you and Bobbi. I speak from experience. Whitney is now surely with God who is watching over you and Bobbi. May Almighty God shower you and Bobbi with His Healing Grace, in Jesus name I pray.
