  • I've taken a look at your website and the screen shots, very impressive!

  • thanks, its all w.i.p., so dont expect too much right now :)

  • The engine is not public yet, it's in the development stage, yes, it is a full featured game development solution, AI, gfx, physics, network, etc. check it on 7thfactor [dot] ro

  • Also, the water needs a realistic mass that truly attempts to fill its container. If a hole is punched in its container, the water's mass should be affected as it flows out the hole. It should behave as a genuine fluid. Rather than pre-rendering a rectangular spout that comes out of the hole, the water needs to be a shapeless mass that can disconnect from itself in any quantity and change its shape to fit through an opening.

  • ok that was too much info :). What you are saying is already being tested with UnrealEngine3 check youtube for unreal engine 3 fluid. But again, what you are saying is requiring a huge amount of horse power processing, so what we have left for AI, other physics, game logic, rendering ? nothing. In the near future maybe the processing power will go up and I'm sure we'll have what you're talking about.

  • That's a test water to check some shaders, I didnt made it for water, in the final I will implement a physical aware water surfaces with foam and splashes, and maybe where available, PhysX fluids, else you'll have to wait for the future :)

  • :D when the day comes for raytracing, i will cry tears of joy!

  • Raytracing and SPH hydrodynamics are the answers!

but they are not realtime yet :) (specially raytracing). Maybe in 10-15 years.

  • most people haven't heard of any of the good engines

  • Save your money..look for examples on youtube for the lynxengine. It's free and it's being programmed by a guy who works for Ati.

  • Funny.. I tried to look up this game engine and nobody has heard of it.

    1. Did it just come out ?

    2. Is it just a water physics engine or an all in one package for developing games ?
