I am proud to say that my grandfather lived through this terrible invasion. I'll never forget the time he told me he made it through Juno Beach. He had tears in his eyes.

This...this is why they are called the greatest generation. they have seen hell. the Depression, the war, and lives lost. We should never forget what the died doing and why they were doing it. God rest the souls who had given their all for freedom and God bless those who fought on the beaches, from Normandy to Iwo Jima. God Bless the Greatest generation
