@NAxNixNaxBass - didn't like it either. Not particularly heartwarming, their chins were too big which was distracting, their personalities too robotic (we want cartoon soldiers to be "soldierly" but not one-dimensional), the enemy was not clearly defined, and they "won" with a wonder-weapon, big deal.
Shows that anyone with the right tools can make a slick looking animation, but only one in a thousand can tell a story right. Genius is and always will be a scarce resource.

You know what was funny, was that at the end when they showed the big picture, there were more craters exactly like the one they just made. So this means that they've been doing the same thing over and over again. That's there the comedy comes into play, since it shows their stupidity. And finally, if it's stupid, and in action, it's funny.
