The Thompson M1A1, which is the one you're thinking of as the WWII Thompson, wasn't the only Tommy Gun in service during World War II. The Model 1928 had the pistol grip, and was still being produced when the war broke out.

@FatTitsMcMurphy One with Pistol grips and Drum magazines were rare and would mostly be used by Tank Commanders like XXX Corps in Market Garden, the 1928s would often just have a standard magazine and a normal grip, correct?

The Thompson is way off. The ones used in WWII didn't have the drum, nor the pistol grip in the front.

forgotten hope is a mod for battlefield 1942 and forgotten hope 2 is for battlefield 2.
both of them can you download on the official site.
