Okay, really now? I know that many of the songs from this musical sound way too much like other songs from more successful musicals (particularly ones by Schonberg and Boubil), but at least those ones weren't so blatant.

This, however, crosses the line into "How the fuck did they get away with this" territory.

That sounds great, but I understand, that is taking out of the show. It sounds other like the other songs an it is strange, that on the begin is singing about Jekyll and Hyde. If it is like the begin of the book, where ist at first tell about Hyde, then it is not right, to sing Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

But I doesn't understand, what they sing - my english knowledge aren't so great. ^^° I think, you see that a this comment xD

@UveBeenLuPwned123094 i have learned that the things that were cut.. were some of the better parts of things.. like for instance "the ballad of sweeney todd" was not in the movie (other than just music in the opening) but i know people wish it was there.

sweeney todd was about a man driven insane by revenge and based on a REAL murderer.. while DrJ and MrH is a fiction based on what people thought of science back then.. that if you give man the power of god they will become insane.

I heard the first two minutes and thought it was somebody else who predates Wildhorns musical as his first came out in 97, not 87. but then the melodi turned into "Alive" from Wildhorns musical.

I like the melody, but I'm glad this was cut. It doesn't really fit well with the show.
