1.5 feet (18 inches) of hair was shed by the Black Knight of Talk Radio, James Arthur Jancik, co-host of the radio show, The Black Knight and Squire G Show, at the Grand Opening Celebration of Floyd's 99 Barbershop in Wrigleyville area in Chicago on the opening day of Paul McCarthney's two day, open air concert at Wrigley Field.
The event was covered by various news crews and this is what appeared on WGBO-TV 5:00 News.
"I loved that rockin' music motif and good tunes can accompany a great hair cut. Ashley did a wonderful job of styling my hair after lopping off ~18" of hair to donate for cancer treatment troopers who have lost theirs and owner Pete made me feel right at home while the camera's rolled. I hope this can inspire people to come out and donate their locks for love." -BLKnight speaking on his experience at Floyd's 99 Rock and Roll Barbershop this past Sunday.
